Julia is a Research Software Engineer in the Big Data Analytics group at Forschungszentrum Jülich. She holds a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics and Informatics from FH Aachen. Her work focuses on research software engineering and research data management, with active involvement in large-scale infrastructure initiatives such as EBRAINS and NFDI4Bioimage. Building on her experience supporting data-intensive scientific workflows, she is particularly interested in enabling scalable, interoperable access to complex datasets. In this talk, she presents a modular approach to bridging the gap between storage systems and applications for large-scale image data.
